33 week Apt. 07.21.09
So yesterday I had a growth ultrasound as well as a regular check up with the OB. I didn't get any pictures of the ultrasound, which was kind of disappointing, but the u/s tech didn't spend any time at all trying to get one for me either. She did the measurements and that was it. All looked good though, and dr. said they estimated her weight at about 5lbs 10oz...wow, that seems big. Her heart rate on u/s was 145. I think she was sleeping. We also listened to the heartbeat and I think she was waking up then because it was up to 155. My belly measured at 39 weeks! So, we were going to schedule the csection for my due date on 09.09.09 which would be a cool birthday, but doctor suggested we take her sooner because of her size. I agreed(I don't want to have a 10lb baby lol). So we are scheduled to go in on August 31, at 8am. The end is in sight, just under six weeks to go!

07.08.09 31 Weeks, Dr. Apt, and 3D Ultrasound
31 weeks today, only 9 weeks to go! OB appointment today, very quick and uneventful. Only gained a pound since my last appointment, blood pressure was great at 122/77. Measured only 3 weeks ahead this time at 34cm. Her heart rate was it's slowest at 145bpm. Next appointment and growth scan in 2 weeks(July 21st).
I also had my elective 3D ultrasound today at Ultrasona St. Louis. What a neat experience it is to see your baby in 3D before he/she is born. So when I got settled up on the table and she puts the want to my tummy, what do we see first....the back of her head! Not a good position for 3D, but we did get to see that she has hair :)

I had to get up and move around a few times to get little miss to move and change position, and we were able to get some really good views of her cuteness. And here I put together a collage of my favorite pics from the appointment along with a belly pic from the day.

Aunt Steph and Unlcle Will came down to attend the ultrasound this time around. Here is Aunt Teph with the girls.

After taking a pic with Aunt Teph, they were in picture mode, so I snapped a few of the girls too...
I just love Jilli's expressions

and her eyes...

07.07.09 Carlyle Beach
The kids have been wanting to go to the beach, so we finally went. It's about an hours drive to get there, but well worth it. They have a ball. I wish we would have made it while Ashley was still here but we just couldn't fit it in. I'd like to go again soon.
All ready to go with their floaties on...

Shianne needs a new swim suit...that fits lol

Played a little on the playground before heading home so they could dry off :)

4th of JULY
Initially we didn't have any plans, and we were just gonna go park somewhere to watch some fireworks. But before I got off work, my sis invited us to her house for dinner and to watch Troy fireworks.
They only sat still long enough for this picture...lol

Trying to do their Pop it things, but the cheapy things didn't work.

They all did sparklers...and poor TayTay got burnt by Jilli.

Here are a few of the many firework shots I snapped...

06.30.09 Cahokia Mounds
Today we took the kids to Cahokia Mounds. We went to the museum and looked around, and watched a video to learn about the mounds. We walked the grounds outside, and before leaving we walked up to the top of Monks Mound all 277 stairs(it about killed me...lol). Before we went home we sat under a tree for a picnic lunch.

The girls in front of Monks Mound...

We stopped for pictures while walking the grounds....

Here we go...about to walk to the top...

and we're off...me bringing up the tail end of course...

A couple views from the top...
St. Louis

Our car is down there...far right front

and down we go...the kids enjoyed themselves.

06.27.09 and 06.28.09 Visit to Indy to see Grandma R and Family
After leaving Effingham from Ashley's Birthday Party, we headed to Indianapolis to surprise Grandma Rosemeyer. She's currently in a rehab center getting therapy and recovering from Surgery to her right humerous, which she had broken. My sister and family also surprised her with a visit. As we always do we got together with family for dinner at MCL(love that place). We had one of the servers/waiters take a group picture for us. He did a better job with my camera then he did my sister's where he cut the whole left side of the family out on hers. This is what I got out of the deal.

We had the picture printed as an 8x10 and framed it as a gift for grandma since she couldn't be there with us. We also took a pick of the great grand kids.

After dinner hubby, I and the kids went to see grandma for a bit before heading back to crash at my step brother's place for the night. The kids had fun playing in grandma's wheel chair most I think. They took turns taking rides across her room.

Before heading off to see grandma one more time before heading home I gathered all the cousins for a quick pic, we don't see them very often, and they sure had a blast together.

And a snap of great grandma with her great granddaughters...

I hope she's strong and able to go home soon, and that we are able to see her again soon too.
